Becomming Friends

Becomming Friends
By: Tonya Ross

We did not really talk,
When we were in school.
A nod, a wave, a smile n’ such,
Man, I guess I was a fool.

We connected again,
After all of these years,
Becomming fast friends,
As it surly appears.

So happy to get to know you,
As we talk everyday,
So much in common,
You are special in every way.

Cares melt away,
As we laugh and talk,
Excited to say, a piece,
Of my heart you’ve unlocked.

Wishing you well,
In all that you do,
To our friendship,
I give exteme value.
