Asking for help is never easy
We take pride in doing for ourselves
However, tis good to swollow your pride
And set it up on those shelves.

Pride as a positive connotation
Allows us to feel accomplised
Pride as a negative emotion
Can leave us feeling demolished.

Leaving our pride aside
Teaches us to be humble
But we must be sure
Not to let our self-esteem crumble.

There is no shame
In asking for help
No need for crying
Or considering a yelp.

All will work out
Just as it should
In times of trouble
Just remember the good.
