Retrospective- Last Daily Prompt

The very last daily prompt!

Such a scary transition into nothingness. The daily prompts have been a huge part of so many blogs. My heart speeds as sweat forms on my forehead. My fingers shake as they press each key while typing this article. Whatever am I to do now, is the question on so many individual minds at the very same time.

We have gotten comfortable with the way things were. Too comfortable! We like having a routine in place. It helps keep us on track with our blogs. We enjoy being able to easily head to one site and find all the reading material we could desire wrapped up neatly with a bow. We delight in the fact that daily prompt and community pool made it so easy to connect with others or have others find our blogs and connect with us. We detest change because it scares us. It causes our blood pressure to rise, our skin sweat and our minds imagine the abyss that follows.

I know we have been promised that the links to these sites will remain intact. WP has said that before… it did not happen! So we wonder, we wait, we sweat! A lot of bloggers are jumping on the bandwagon to start their own daily prompts. I wonder how these will go? Will we split off into little clicks? Groups of bloggers that only communicate within these clicks? Will they find success in these new avenues of daily prompts? Only time will tell.

I have as of yet to hear of a blogger taking on the community pool, or if something like that is even possible? Therefore, I have decided to take on the monumental task of trying to do just that…

Starting today I will be creating a new page on my blog called Community Pool. I will post each Friday to this community Pool and encourage ANYONE and everyone to ping back to this page as well.

This will be a spot where you can share your links to your articles that are special to you and you would like others to see. Leave a comment telling us who you are, how long you have been a blogger and what your blog is about. Do not forget to leave a link to your blog’s homepage.

Let’s keep the community open and going. Let’s continue to connect with one another aside from just the daily prompts. Let’s show WP they are okay moving on because WE GOT THIS!!

To all my fellow bloggers out there, I am honored to share connections with you, read what you write and form these special bonds that help make us a wonderful community.
